National Medical Imaging, LLC, the developer of ICS, develops web based integrated communication systems.  ICS is the result of seven years of ongoing development in collaboration with physicians, medical service providers and hospitals.

The developers of ICS were employed by a respected mobile and fixed site imaging services provider known for its technical and scientific expertise.  The company’s chairman and founder was himself a physician, noted researcher and radiology department chairman at a well known teaching hospital in the mid west.  During their time with Nuclear Medical Imaging Company, Inc. ICS's founders provided and developed many parts of the ICS system to serve the company's clients who are major hospitals, imaging centers, ambulatory clinics and large private practices.  The referral base for Nuclear Medical Imaging Co. was always important.  Hence, the developers of ICS spent a great deal of time and effort finding ways to not only serve their clients (radiologists and stakeholders within a hospital) but to bring the private practitioner into the group as well because they were the referrers. This is where the ICS developers devised ways to improve communication between their customers and the referrers. 

The predecessor company offered many other services to its customers including scheduling and pre-certification as well as management services.  Patient care also went hand in hand with the imaging services and tools to make their experience better in concert with JCAHO compliance and HIPPA. All these various aspects of medical practice have been thoughtfully integrated into the ICS system. 

By spending the decade in real medical practice, the developers and management of ICS have learned what is needed in today’s medical practices.  They have developed a system to help the private practitioner stay abreast of those needs as well as prepare for the future.
